ROGER MAC GINTY is a Reader in the School of International Relations, University of St Andrews, UK. His previous books have included <EM>No War, No Peace: The rejuvenation of stalled peace processes and peace accords</EM>, (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006) and <EM>Contemporary Peacemaking</EM> (Palgrave Macmillan, 2002 with John Darby). He edits the Palgrave <EM>Rethinking Political Violence</EM> book series.
