The Kid is a science fiction novel first published in Aurora magazine in 1971.
The planet Panta is threatened by a global catastrophe. It was decided to relocate the colonists to the nearest Ark, where conditions are approximately similar to those on Earth.
But the arriving group of colonists discovers a crashed spaceship on the Ark. "free search engines". The Semyonov family crew died. But in an incredible and very strange way, their child, whom everyone now calls Baby, survived and survived. Who or what saved the Kid?..
