For Centuries various abnormalities and diseases of Gastrointestinal (GI) tract, especially Esophagus and Stomach, were attaining prime concern due to its relation with morbidity and mortality of affected individuals. There is a worldwide variation in the distribution of various lesions of different parts of esophagus and stomach. Histopathological examination of the specimen of esophagus and stomach will point the exact cause of underlying disease and help in proper management of patients and help in predicting prognosis in individual cases.
