Naga chillis are placed among hottest chillis in the world. It is being indigenous cultivated in Nagaland and other parts of northeast india. The character of chilli is due to a volatile phenolic amine capsaicin, a molecule which is responsible for the pungency of chilli peppers and found mainly in the placenta as well as fleshy tissue of the fruit. Naga chilli, biological name Capsicum chinense belonging to the family Solanaceae. These are warm season vegetables that are easy to grow if provided full sun, warmth and fertile soil with good drainage. Capsicum chinense seeds are a little slower to germinate than other peppers.The plants prefer very warm conditions and the fruits may take a little longer to mature, particularly in temperate climates.
