SMEs play an indisputable role, in dynamism and economic development. They represent an essential element for economic integration, diversification, and a means of accelerating the volume of investment, production and a source of job creation. These vulnerable entities represent the core of economic development, and occupy a singular place in the growth of the production apparatus. They constitute a source of wealth, satisfaction of economic and social needs, and absorption of unemployment. All these factors reinforce the role of small enterprises in participating in the process of modernization of the Algerian economy. This book presents and examines the importance of Algerian SMEs in job creation and its contribution to the national economy.
