'Regulatory Options of the German Legislator for Whistleblower Protection in Implementation of the EU Directive 2019/1937': The German legislator is obliged to implement EU Directive 2019/1937 (the so-called Whistleblowing-Directive). This means that, for the first time, a law for the protection of whistleblowers will have to be standardized in Germany. The paper shows the regulatory options of the national legislator in this legislative project and presents - taking into account the results of the investigation - a draft of a whis-tleblower protection law.

Carla Charlotte Schmidt ist Rechtsreferendarin am Oberlandesgericht Frankfurt am Main.
