Semantics is also an appealing subject because it is about how people make sense of each other linguistically, but it can be a frustrating area of study because it requires us to make sense of people and what they have in mind. " Understanding semantics'' aims at instill in students of linguistics and translation a love of semantics and involve them actively in the learning experience through a flexible approach, which allows for the building up of modular parts as well as meaningful and clearly defined activities
