This book talks about antibiotic resistance in Escherichia coli isolated from broiler and indigenous chicken on various farms in Kericho County. Escherichia coli were isolated from rectal swabs from chicken of varying ages. Isolation and identification of bacteria were done followed by susceptibility testing. Resistant isolates had their Plasmid DNAs extracted and run on agarose gel for band separation and analysis basing on their molecular weights.
