'Faiy Dust'Forgotten childhoods and brutal exploitation: In short intense episodes, Cornelia Travnicek tells the story of three young pickpockets who fight for their future.Petru, Cheta and Magare lead a different life than most teenagers. They live apart from their families as outcasts in a run-down house. The three young boys are exploited by someone called Krakadzil, to whom they have turn in most of what they earn through stealing from the townspeople. Fairy dust is a drug that the boys consume regularly - it helps them get through the day. Cornelia Travnicek, geboren 1987, lebt in Niederösterreich. Studium der Sinologie und Informatik, arbeitet als Researcher in einem Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung. Für ihre literarischen Arbeiten wurde sie vielfach ausgezeichnet. 2012 erschien mit großem Erfolg ihr Debütroman 'Chucks', der 2015 verfilmt wurde. Nach dem Roman 'Junge Hunde' (2015) und dem Gedichtband 'Parablüh' erschien 2019 im Picus Verlag ihr erstes Kinderbuch 'Zwei dabei' (illustriert von Birgitta Heiskel).
