The anthology brings together contributions that deal with the changes in family and parental roles from a gender-critical perspective. The aim is to overcome normative evaluations and to mark the (socially) critical potential of motherhood and parenthood through an interdisciplinary inventory of socio-economic conditions as well as psychosocial and gender-specific aspects.

Prof. Dr. Helga Krüger-Kirn ist Psychoanalytikerin für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene sowie Lehranalytikerin (DGPT). Sie ist Honorarprofessorin an der PhilippsUniversität Marburg. Leila Zoë Tichy, M.Sc., M.A., hat Psychologie und Philosophie studiert und als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Philipps-Universität Marburg gearbeitet. Derzeit befindet sie sich in Ausbildung zur psychologischen Psychotherapeutin (Psychoanalyse).
