This work is about the phenomena of appearance and disappearance. The book shows 36 head-shots of a clown. If mutability of appearance is integral to the phenomenon of the cloud - since dissolution or erasure is inevitable - the converse is proposed for the clown.

Roni Horn wurde in New York geboren. Sie lebt und arbeitet in New York und in Island. Ihre Arbeiten sind in allen großen Museen der Welt vertreten. Ihre jüngsten Ausstellungen hatte sie im Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, im Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, im Funacao Serralves, Porto, und bei Hauser & Wirth & Presenhuber in Zürich.
