The present book has a single focus on the interaction between the microwave field and matter with special importance on the theory and application of the simultaneous experiments. The book consists of two chapters plus appendices. The first chapter is focused on the general introduction to microwave area and general concepts with a short history, while the second part of the book is focused on the microwaves and application areas. The book represents a potentially interesting to researchers and specialists with the area of interest based on the microwave field and matter, electromagnetism, electronics and mechanical engineering.

Editor: Mr. Marian Mogildea holds a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Bucharest and he finished his Master's at the University of Lecce, Italy where he studied the plasma physics. Currently he is a senior researcher at the Institute of Space Science (ISS) from Bucharest, Romania.
