Dr Lemtouni was born in Marrakech in a family of Murabitin origins. Her love for poetry grew with her father's readings of Moutanabbi, Abou Firas El Hamadani, El Maarri and many other Arab poets. Her first poem was written in 2012 after a sudden death of her brother. She is a doctor in Nutrition, with a background in Agronomy.
