The aim of poetic landscape photography is to explore nature's unique traits and portray them photographically with light and poetically with words. What special characteristics of nature do we see that nobody else sees and how do we emphasize and depict them? Listening to the sounds of cascades, waves and wind, noticing clouds' miens, catching the tidal shifts, discovering meandering alpine gorges, hefty alpine ridges, mysterious reflections, and exploring nature's deeper hidden treasures.

Michael A. Radin is an associate professor of mathematics at Rochester Institute of Technology. While teaching and traveling overseas in Greece and Latvia, Michael discovered and developed Poetic Photography; the art of blending unique photographic sensations and imaginations.
