The main aim of this study is prepared medicated lollipops is easy to give the dose of ambroxol HCL to pediatric patients. Those patients have an dysphagia, for these type of patients are comfortable with these dosages from. These lollipops gives mucolytic and mucokinetic action. The various polymers such as HPMC k100m, HPMC k4m, SCMC are used for extended the release of drug up to 30 min. Thus cost effective and slow release medicated lollipops of ambroxol HCL in oral cavity is a safe and effective dosage form for pediatrics and having better bioavailability. The scope of this study is In-vivo study, In-vivo in-vitro correlation,Formulating various formulation using different polymers those extended the drug release, Formulating various formulation containing combination of drugs are used, Formulating this formulation for the treatment of various problems in pediatrics. The lollipops are liking dosages form for children's. Most of the ambroxol HCL formulations are available, but by developing formulation we can improve stability of formulation, fixed dosing, increase patient compliance & also bioavailability of drug.
