As a part of our general programme, A study on some pyrrole, pyrazole and isoxazole derivatives has been taken up. Vast literature is available on the chemistry of pyrroles, pyrazolines, isoxazolines and their derivatives and it becomes a difficult task to include all such material. However, sufficient care has been taken to give a composite picture of the methods of syntheses of pyrroles, pyrazolines and isoxazolines as they are related to the present work. Thus, a review presented in the following pages aims only to bring about a rational and comprehensive approach on the synthesis of these compounds.

The author Dr. B. Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry. Later he did Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Pohan University Of Science And Technology, Postech, at South Korea. He has published 50 research papers in National and International Journals.
