Dopo la formazione presso la Scuola per Diakonia di Greifensee/ZH, lavora come diacono sociale, insegnante di religione e operatore di aiuto allo sviluppo in Papua Nuova Guinea. Dal 1984 sono state pubblicate opere teologiche e relazioni di viaggio sull'Asia e l'Oceania.
