A good way to learn Special Relativity is to take the Postulates as the starting point, and derive everything from there. This is approach adopted in this book. Therefore you can regard the logical sequence as postulates invariance of interval Lorentz transformations and other results. This semi-popular book presents, a geometrical approach of the essentials of relativity from the Minkowski point of view, that is, in terms of the geometry of space-time, where the imagined experiments of Einstein are presented in a geometrical coherent sequence. The main emphasis of the book is on the development of the basic ideas in geometrical formulation rather than special applications that gave the theory its importance. Some 4-vectors changed the world! The material is divided into four parts, the diagrams in space-time and the kinematics, the Minkowki vectors in space-time, the new mechanics and the relativity in electromagnetics.
