This book identifies the gaps which exist in the translation industry in order to understand the extent to which the translation industry has developed in Iraqi Kurdistan region. In addition, this study identifies some important facts regarding translators features who work in the industry such as their numbers, gender, age, language specialists and qualifications. The research will focus on the translation offices and companies because they are the representatives of the translation industry in Kurdistan. The research will examine a number of issues in relation to the offices or companies and this includes examining their numbers, sizes, professional history, and their translators.

Rfaai Rashid Mohammad, born and raised in Erbil-Iraq. I obtained BA from Salahalddin University-Erbil & hold MA in Translation Studies from Aston University-UK. I teach subjects related to translation & interpretation at Translation Techniques Department at Erbil Polytechnic University & CEO of London Translation Company in Erbil since 2015.
