- This book is a practical and comprehensive text on fracture fixation in children using intramedullary pins. The original technique initiated in 1977 follows a simple principle of transverse and longitudinal fixation in which two bowed opposed pins are inserted from the metaphysis and elastically fill the bone cavity.
