- Edwin Baaske, Jahrgang 1962, ist gebürtiger Hamburger mit Wohnsitz in Bielefeld. Nach Stationen als Tageszeitungs-Redakteur in Husum, auf Föhr und in Neumünster wechselte er das Genre und die Region. In Stuttgart entdeckte er als Motor-Journalist seine Leidenschaft fürs Automobil. Dort wechselte der stellvertretende Chefredakteur des Auto-Magazins "Gute Fahrt" (1994) und Gründer des Szene-Blattes "VW Speed" (1995) dann zu DaimlerChrysler (1997). Seit 1999 leitet der Vater einer Tochter das Corporate Publishing bei Delius Klasing.Sein erstes Buch "Der VW Käfer" erschien 1995 bei Delius Klasing, sein jüngster Bildband "Käfer-Zeiten" 2004.
