Ambedkar criticized Hinduism for de-linking the morality on basis of religion, so he redefines the notion of religion in terms of reason and scientific method. The redefinition of religion and morality makes him to embrace Buddhism. He equates the concept of Dhamma with morality which gives importance to the treatment of man as a man.

    • At present Dr. Seshagiri Rao is a Post-Doctoral Fellow working on A Critical and Comparative Philosophical Study on Justice and Freedom of John Rawls and Ambedkar's at t h e U n i v e r s i t y o f Hyderabad. He worked as lecturer in college and taught graduate and under graduate students. He has participated and presented several research papers in different national and International seminars and published many papers on religious and socio-political philosophy in various levels. He teaches political Philosophy and Religious philosophy to some institutes in South India as a visiting scholar. Seshagiri Rao has contributed several research papers to different National and International workshops.
