Technology is one of the most important and powerful ways that human beings exercise this dominion. But while technology can extend our humanity in powerful and exciting ways, many of us feel that it can compromise or fracture our humanity at its core. As a result, questions quickly emerge. What does it mean to be human? How does our creation in the image of God affect the way we use, design, and understand technology? Should our general posture toward technology be cautious or optimistic? - <b>Gerald Hiestand</b>is senior pastor at Calvary Memorial Church in Chicago, Illinois, and co-founder and board chair of the Center for Pastor Theologians. He is the author and editor of numerous books, including<i>The Pastor Theologian: Resurrecting an Ancient Vision</i> (2015) and<i>Becoming a Pastor Theologian: New Possibilities for Church Leadership</i> (2016).<br><br><b><br><br> Todd A. Wilson</b>is the co-founder and president of the Center for Pastor Theologians. Prior to serving as the president of the CPT, he spent nearly twenty years in pastoral ministry. Todd has written numerous books, including<i>The Pastor Theologian: Resurrecting an Ancient Vision</i> (2015) and<i>Becoming a Pastor Theologians: New Possibilities for Church Leadership</i> (2016).
