    • Medicinal and aromatic plants are exported in three phases; fresh or dry herb or essential oils. The problem of export of the product in general, is that the product is not accepted by the importers due to its specifications. It is dependent essentially on the oil % and active ingredient and the microbial content. A big problem was erected between Egypt and European Union in 2011 due to the microbial content of the exported agricultural products from Egypt. From the above mentioned, it appears that some work should be directed to improve the exported agricultural products from Egypt to EEC and world wide. Drying methods; air or oven should be tested, and the storability of the drug as well as the packing method and packing materials should be investigated to determine drug storability in good conditions for export. In this case, when the drug will reach the destination in good condition, more amounts will be required and more quantities are exported which will increase the Egyptian farmers income.
