Er hat zahlreiche wissenschaftliche Arbeiten zum Alten Ägypten, Mumien und Paläopathologie publiziert (Lancet, PLoS One, Circulation Research). Er ist Senior Research Fellow an der Flinders University, Adelaide (Australien) und wissenschaftlicher Experte am FAPAB Research Center in Avola (Italien).Dr. Michael E. Habicht, studied Classical Archaeology and Egyptology at the Universities of Zurich and Basel.
