- Eris Valentowicz stammt aus Bünde, lebt aber seit mittlerweile 20 Jahren in Herford. Nach Abschluss ihres Studiums der Kunstgeschichte, Publizistik und Ethnologie in Münster arbeitete sie in verschiedenen Archiven und baute u.a. das Stadtmuseum in Coesfeld mit auf. Valentowicz hat zahlreiche historische Bildbände und regionalgeschichtliche Publikationen veröffentlicht. Sie engagiert sich u.a. im Herforder Geschichtsverein sowie im Westfälischen Heimatbund.
