It has been identified that precedents emboldens the source of law in the Rwandan legal system since all courts of the country are bounded to respect the decisions and judgments of the Supreme Court. Case law is and always has been a respected and vital part of constitutional jurisprudence. Furthermore, this research attempted to portray the contribution of stare decisis under Rwandan judicial law and the legal mechanisms that enhance the applicability of it under Rwandan judicial system.

- Nacido en Ruanda en 1969, el Dr. MUNDERERE Jean Damascène es autor de más de 30 publicaciones en el ámbito jurídico. Titular de tres doctorados en derecho judicial, justicia penal comparada y ciencias políticas, ha adquirido una experiencia laboral de casi 30 años en el sector de la justicia, la enseñanza superior, los derechos humanos y la administración pública.
